Winter colours and texture in the kitchen

8/30/2016

I had a look at the latest apartment for sale over on Fantastic Frank and found this beautifully styled kitchen. These are my favourite shades of grey and in my opinion perfect Winter colours. A white kitchen might seem a little cold in the Winter, but by adding a sheepskin rug or two, with beautiful colours and textures, it’s easy to inject some warmth and colour.  Pillows, curtains and a rug might be other options for adding colours, but I do like keeping things quite simple. I think this kitchen looks great and would be quite happy sat here with a coffee and a magazine.

Lately I’ve been looking at buying black plates and I’m thinking about adding a few of these wintery colours to my kitchen. I love my Hario kettle, but I’m still a big fan of this Italian coffee maker too. What do you prefer?
