In my opinion, there’s nothing better than an unplanned trip. On Saturday we booked an Airbnb stay in a small Scottish town called Girvan. We basically searched the Airbnb site for place none of us had been before and found a budget home to rent. We found this sweet little place near the seaside. It was really good to get away for a couple of days and we enjoyed being outside a lot, not to mention the lovely views. I did some work, but during the day we went for walks and visited new places. It’s October, so I’m not going to pretend it was warm. It was actually quite cold and windy, but we had two beautiful, sunny days.
This was our second Airbnb stay and I would thoroughly recommend it. You can see photos from our first booking with Airbnb here. Where to next time?!
Such a lovely Airbnb! I haven’t rented with them yet – I’m actually not sure why I haven’t, but this post is convincing me to give it a try! Looks like a lovely way to spend a few days 🙂
