Hootsuite and weekends

10/19/2015

I really needed a weekend off and tried to be off social media completely. I more or less managed and it was quite nice for a change. We had brilliant weather, so it seem like a good idea to spend the weekend going for walks and enjoying the crisp air. Do you have weekend rules? Do you try to spend less time on social media at the weekend or is it the opposite? It can be pretty constant these days. I find it hard at times, but there are ways of managing it.

Do you know or already use Hootsuite? It’s a great way of organising your social media. You can schedule posts on Facebook, Twitter, Thumblr and Instagram to mention some sites. You can also see what works and what doesn’t by looking at the in debt analytics reports. You can join for free as a personal user or pay a small fee to use it for your brand.

I find it really useful and will be using it more and more at the weekend. I think it’s important to get a bit of a break and can really feel the benefit from slowing down at weekend.

It means that the weekends can be a bit more like this… and I think we all need that in this fast online world.

Hootsuite and weekends. Lazy Sunday breakfast, items from Normann Copenhagen, Ikea and gold cutlery from Zara.

Hootsuite and weekends. Autumn colours, coloured leaves on a sunny day.

Hootsuite and weekends. Coffee and reading in bed. Kinfolk magazine.
