Gong Fifties Lighting

12/05/2013

I first noticed Gong in Paris January 2013 at Maison & Objet and have kept in touch with them since. I’m very pleased to introduce them as my new sponsor.
Gong is run by French Designer Guillaume Evrard and the boutique is located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, London. The boutique and on-line store offers a mixture of items and has a real eclectic feel. Some items are African, some Asian and some French.

Designed by Guillaume Evrard, the 50’s collection offers typical colours of that period – black, white and red. The first lamp I noticed in Paris was actually the white floor lamp. It looked stylish and classy.

The collection is centered around the theme of the bird’s foot and is available in two versions – the DINO and the PEGGY. Feet and arms are made from antique brass and the shades are matt enamel with a warm golden interior. The 50’s collection is entirely hand-crafted.
