Danish Design classic Stingray by Fredericia

12/11/2017

I’m slightly obsessed with Danish Design and very excited to show you our stunning new rocking chair by Fredericia. The Stingray was designed by Thomas Pedersen, as a part of his final exam project at the Aarhus school of Design. Inspired by organic shapes found in nature, the Stingray is inspired by a stingray moving through water. I think the shape is beautiful and the chair is very comfortable too. It’s a perfect chair for enjoying a good book.

Our new chair has found a nice spot in our home, right by the window. It’s one of my favourite parts of this house and I’ve been trying to find the perfect chair for a while. Well, I believe I’ve found it. It looks great, don’t you think?

The eye catching rocking chair comes with optional extras and I have to say they are simply the best. The sheepskin is out of this world and the head rest in leather equally as perfect. Not that I would expect anything less from Fredericia of course. They’re all about craftsmanship and quality materials. You can read more about my visit to the Copenhagen showroom here. It’s a must to visit if you’re in Copenhagen. It’s such a stunning space.

“Our furniture is designed to withstand a lifetime of use and age gracefully.” – Fredericia
