Christmas the Scandi way

11/26/2015

I’ve teamed up with Out There Interiors to gather ideas on how to create the ultimate clean, simplistic, scandi-esque home for Christmas.

To create Christmas the Scandi way you have to add nature. To me a Scandi Christmas doesn’t involve a lot of decorations, just little hints of Christmas. Nature, some decorations and lots of candles (not forgetting nice food and your family of course!).  There are so many simple things you can do to make Christmas it a bit more special. A little tip is to cut a branch or two off the back of your Christmas tree (shhh! Nobody will know!) you’ll see why when you have a look at the Pinterest Guest board I’ve been curating. A little branch can go a long way.

In addition to nature, I’ll be adding decorations in different metal colours. The brushed gold tripod lamp goes perfectly with my  colour scheme this Christmas.

I love my little Norfolk Island tree. It’s growing slowly, but I’m pleased to say that I’ve had it since last year.

What’s your must have for Christmas this year?!
