With the iconic Imola chair celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary, Bo Concept is launching a limited edition today! With only 600 all-black chairs produced, it’s quite a special one. Each chair comes with a numbered plaque, brochure and certificate of authenticity. So if you’re looking for something unique for your living room, this is it!
In my opinion, the Imola chair shows Danish design at it’s best. Designed by Henrik Pedersen, this beautiful chair offers minimal design and comfort at the same time. The chair was actually inspired by a tennis ball.
“I don’t do this for money or fame. My passion is creating good products that can be used by customers around the world.” – Henrik Pedersen
Back to the very special limited edition of the Imola chair and the 10 year anniversary. Below, I am going to show you below this beautiful minimal and luxurious chair in my favourite all-black. I think it looks perfect and would suit different types of homes, modern or traditional.
You have to be highly skilled to make this chair. There are only a few brilliant craftsmen in the world who are qualified to make the Imola chair. The qualification takes around a year.
I was lucky to be sent a very cute model of the chair and it has found a space on my kitchen shelf. You can see it here.
“IN MY OPINION, A GOOD LIVING CHAIR NEEDS TO BE COMFORTABLE. I WANT IT TO BE A PLACE OF RELAXATION.” – Henrik Pedersen
I could sit here all day, enjoying a good book and of course the green view. It looks like such a comfortable and very well designed chair. If you would like to find out more, check out this video about the design and production process.
